Great place to stop, the museum is really nice with a lot to see and the gift shop is hard to walk away from empty handed.

These are the nicest people you will ever meet. My wife and I just finished riding our motorcycle through the Badlands and Wall Drug while on vacation. As we were riding back to Custer and the weather turned really bad. A tornado warning came across the radio. We pulled off the interstate to the Mobile Gas station in Wasta S.D. As the storm grew closer, the owners wife of Armed Forces pulled in the gas station and filled up and we talked about how a tornado touched down. As I filmed the storm coming in, Tom (Armed Forces owner) opened his garage door and asked if we would like to come in and wait the storm out. We were there for 2 hours. We are very grateful for their generousity.
